Time is Not the Most Precious Thing
You’ll never have enough time if you don’t do this
We all want more time, right?
More weekends. More holidays. More free time. More alone time. More time with friends and family. More time to read. More time to exercise. More time to do all the things we want to do.
And, that’s understandable. It can sometimes feel like we jump straight onto a hamster wheel first thing each morning and keep running until we finally pass out at the end of the day.
There’s no time for rest. It’s just go-go-go. And there’s no end in sight.
This is exhausting and can also be stressful as hell. When there’s no relief on the horizon, there’s no hope. And when there’s no hope, despair and desperation begin to creep into our minds.
Then, when we do have a moment to spare, we use it to distract ourselves from the relentlessness of life. And we try desperately to hold on to these moments of escape, like a lone piece of wood floating on a vast ocean.
This is why more time isn’t the antidote to our stress, anxiety, and despair. More time doesn’t solve the problem — it might just temporarily make us forget about it.
But, if more time doesn’t solve the problem, then what does?
