Hi Vincent!

It sounds like you've had some profound spiritual experiences with meditation. I can't quite relate since meditation hasn't had that effect on me. I'm still very much a beginner--I've only been practicing daily for 3 years.

You asked me to comment on your article, so I'll say that I think you have a lot of good content in here and I can feel your energy and desire to communicate your experiences. That's great! Don't lose that.

I think what you'll find as you continue to write on Medium is that your articles will become more and more specific. You'll narrow them down to a couple ideas and then expand upon those by digging deeper. In that sense, this article could probably be broken apart into several articles, where you discuss those topics in more depth. Also, the feedback I've received over the years is that people love to hear about what they can do. So, when appropriate, I try to include concrete actions they can take at the end of my articles. I see that you've done that here, which is great.

While reading, I realized that you have a slightly different perspective on meditation than I do. If you're interested in another perspective, I'd highly recommend the podcast Insight Hour with Joseph Goldstein. Don't expect thrilling entertainment, but the man spews wisdom with every breath. My understanding of meditation has largely been shaped by him, as well as Sam Harris, who teaches a Dzogchen style of meditation.

Anyway, keep it up! And don't be concerned about writing on the same topics over and over. I've done this repeatedly, and each time I do, I refine not just my writing style but also what I think about the topic.

All the best!! :)
